A first vintage from Smith Wooton. Deep purple in the glass. Our rich and opulent Petite Sirah offers aromas of blackberries, lavender and baking spices. Deep and complex flavors black cherry, plums and black pepper build on the palate. There is nothing petite about this wine as its well structured and firm tannins lead to a long lingering finish. The wine was produced to enjoy now but can be aged for many years to come!
Grapes for the 2017 Vintners Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon came from two distinct vineyards in Rutherford. The lots were fermented separately and the resulting blend combined. Combining grapes from two distinct vineyards In Rutherford, one located east along the Vaca Mountain range and one located west along the Mayacama Mountain range allows for a complete expression of the famous Rutherford AVA.
2017 Croze Cabernet Sauvignon follows the Croze philosophy of balance and elegance. Here is a wine with its roots deep in the cult wine growing area of Oakville, and its pedigree is long. This wine is a classic Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine shows its Oakville roots with beautiful aromas of cocoa, blackberry and toasted oak; full bodied with depth, moderate tannin and a long finish, this wine sings with chocolate, clove and anise. The grapes were harvested in October 2017 and following a slow fermentation the wine was racked to barrel using 1/3 new, 1/3 once filled and 1/3 twice filled French Oak barrels. The wine was racked twice in 2018 and 2019.

Barrel aged for 8 months in 20% new French oak, our Croze Chardonnay embodies the balance of brilliant acidity and round, integrated oak that define Croze winemaker Daniel Benton's approach to chardonnay.
