This wine was born out of a desire to produce a wine that pairs with some of our favorite comfort foods. Imagine a wine with beautiful violet and lilac notes on the nose followed by a rich earthy density reminiscent of truffle or mushroom. There is nothing petiet about Petit Verdot.

This wine is a natural with braised foods that are cooked low and slow. Try it with braised short ribs, lamb shanks, or osso buco. One of our favorites is truffle risotto with Smith Wooton Petit Verdot
