This wine is a classic Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine shows its Oakville roots with beautiful aromas of cocoa, blackberry and toasted oak; full bodied with depth, moderate tannin and a long finish, this wine sings with chocolate, clove and anise. The grapes were harvested in October 2017 and following a slow fermentation the wine was racked to barrel using 1/3 new, 1/3 once filled and 1/3 twice filled French Oak barrels. The wine was racked twice in 2018 and 2019.
This limited release wine was grown in the famous Russian River Valley. The vineyard benefits from a cool climate that is heavily affected by the Pacific Ocean. This results in an elegant wine that demonstrates finesse and a silky texture.
